On Thursday, January 13, 2011, Codiac Regional RCMP received a complaint from a 20-year-old Moncton woman that she had been threatened by a man.
RCMP arrested a 20-year-old man a short time later.
20-year-old, Joel Donald Robertson, of Moncton, has been charged with harassment and unlawful confinement, the latter charge stemming from an incident alleged to have occurred on July 1, 2010. He is also charged with breach of probation.
Robertson was held in custody and appeared in Moncton Provincial Court on January 14 to face the charges. He has been remanded until a bail hearing on January 17.
