The Calgary Police Service has charged a fourth person in relation to a 2008 homicide.

On Sunday, June 29, 2008, at approximately 2:20 p.m., officers responded to a complaint in the 11400 block of Braniff Road S.W. Inside the home, officers discovered the body of a deceased man.

The victim was identified as Daniel Jacob LEVESQUE, 29, of Calgary.

Daniel LEVESQUE died as a result of blunt and sharp-force trauma.

LEVESQUE, a father of two, was not known to Calgary Police Service.

Police believe LEVESQUE was killed in his home during the night or early morning of June 28 and June 29, 2008.

Derek CAMPEAU, 25, of Calgary, has now been charged with first-degree murder.

He appeared in court this morning and has been remanded in custody.

Police have already charged three other people in connection with this homicide.

Aaron Lee STEVENS, 25, and Sheldon Bertrum WORME, 24, both from Calgary, were charged with first-degree murder.

Tania Marie GAULIN, 21, was charged with accessory after the fact to first-degree homicide.

CAMPEAU is the final person sought in this investigation.
