The Hamilton Police Service is seeking the assistance of the public in locating a man wanted for a robbery and kidnapping incident.

On Saturday, January 15th, 2011, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Hamilton Police were called to an address on Windermere Rd. in Hamilton to investigate a robbery that had just occurred. The victim, a 51 yr. old Ancaster man, alleged that he had been kidnapped and robbed at gunpoint and had been forcibly confined for hours before being released at the Windermere Rd. location by the suspect involved. The victim did suffer some injuries as a result of the incident that were treated at the scene.

The Division Two Detective Office continued to investigate and a suspect was developed. That suspect, Jordan Andrew BROWN, is now wanted by Hamilton Police for Kidnapping with a Firearm, Forcible Confinement, Robbery and Assault Cause Bodily Harm.

Hamilton Police believe BROWN may be in the Hamilton or Halton Region.

Jordan BROWN is described as:
• male
• white
• 27 yrs.
• 214 lbs.
• 5’9”

BROWN may also be driving a stolen grey 2007 Toyota Camry with licence plate BCVJ 275.

Jordan BROWN is considered to be armed and dangerous and should not be approached by the public but instead anyone seeing him or the vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1.
