The Hamilton Police Service is seeking the assistance of the public in identifying the suspects involved in an early morning robbery that happened at an East Hamilton home.

Today, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Hamilton Police went to a home on Capilano Dr. near Greenhill Ave. to investigate a robbery. The 63 yr. old resident of the home told police that at approximately 1:30 a.m. he heard noises coming from the main floor of his home. He went to find the source of the noise and was struck in the back of the head with an unknown item. The victim was bound while the suspects searched through the victim’s home. The suspects then fled the home after being in the house for approximately one hour. The victim was able to call 9-1-1 and police responded.

The victim received a minor head injury that was treated at the scene. It is unknown at this time what if anything was taken from the home. Hamilton Police do not believe that this is a random incident.

The first suspect is described as:
• Male
• White
• 20-30 yrs.
• Stalky build
• 175 lbs.
• Dark clothing

There is no description of the second suspect involved.
