The Edmonton Police Service has charged three men who were allegedly involved in an altercation on an ETS bus in southeast Edmonton on Sunday morning.

EPS Southeast Patrol Officers responded to a call from ETS Security regarding an assault taking place on a bus on route to the city centre at approximately 12:20 a.m. on January 23, 2011. The driver pulled the bus over on Connors Hill and quickly evacuated the passengers.

The altercation allegedly took place between two men, when a third man became involved. The three men are believed to know one another. A knife was produced and one man was stabbed. The two men involved in the altercation suffered minor injuries, and the third man suffered no injuries. The men were treated at hospital and released.

One man was arrested on the bus and the other two men were arrested in the immediate vicinity. All three were arrested without incident.

Bretton Fisher, 21, has been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon. Yanick Bureau, 20, and Melvin Littlechild, 19, have been charged with aggravated assault.
