The Calgary Police Service is investigating an attempted child luring incident in the city’s southeast.

Three 10-year-old boys were playing in a school field in the 4800 block of Forego Ave S.E. at 6 p.m., on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, when they were approached by a male who offered them money to get inside his truck.

The boys refused and ran home where they reported the incident to their parents. The man drove away.

The suspect is described as 45 to 50 years old, with tanned skin, a thin face and dark hair. The vehicle is reported to be a baby blue pick-up truck with a white canopy and shiny bumpers.
