The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a wanted man in a homicide investigation.
It is alleged that:
– on Saturday, February 5, 2011, the victim was at a restaurant in the Keele Street/Sheppard Avenue West area,
– the victim was involved in an altercation with another man,
– the man then stabbed the victim,
– the victim later died from his injuries.
On Tuesday, February 8, 2011, after 2 p.m., Simeon Dewhite Minott, 29, attended 31 Division and surrendered to police.
He has been charged with Second Degree Murder.
He is scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Wednesday, February 9, 2011.
