TTC worker Frederick Tulk charged with assault, Toronto

On Saturday, January 8, 2011, at 10 a.m., a man and his son boarded a TTC bus on Sheppard Avenue East at Scunthorpe Avenue.

It is alleged that:

– while on the bus, a TTC employee boarded the bus at McCowan Road and spoke to the driver of the bus, then yelled at patrons to move back, as the bus was crowded,

– the man and his son did not move, and the TTC employee grabbed the man by the shoulder and pushed him against a pole.

On Tuesday, February 8, 2011, Frederick Tulk, 59, of Toronto, surrendered to police at 42 Division, and was charged with Assault.

He is scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East on Thursday, March 17, 2011, room 407, 1 p.m.
