Toronto Fire services’ Capt. According to the police, they cannot reveal the identity of the man in question until the next of kin have been notified.
In a similar incident earlier this weekend, a body was pulled out of the lake in Toronto on Saturday. Toronto Police’s Marine Unit mentioned that the body was pulled out of the water in the Island Airport Ferry channel after a passerby told the she saw the body just “floating there.” She mentioned that “I saw them (marine unit) hook the body out of there,” adding that “it definitely seemed male.” However, police did not provide any details about that rescue mission.
