Three suspects sought for a home invasion in Calgary

g180 The Calgary Police Service is currently investigating a home invasion robbery that occurred early this morning.

At approximately 1:10 a.m., on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, three armed men identifying themselves as police forced their way into a home in the 800 block of Saddlecreek Way N.E.

Once inside, the suspects forced the victims to the floor where they were bound. The offenders then ransacked the home and made off with a significant amount of property.

Once the suspects had left the home, the victims were able to free themselves and call police.

Investigators believe this was a targeted home invasion as occupants of this residence are known to CPS.

Police are seeking public assistance in identifying the three offenders.

The first offender is described as a darker-skinned man, 24 to 30 years old, 5’9” to 5’11” tall, and 180 pounds. He was wearing a T-shirt with the word “POLICE” across the chest, a black balaclava, black shoes and grey or black track pants. He also had a police-style badge hanging around his neck and was carrying a handgun.

The second offender is a Caucasian man, 27 or 28 years old, 6’ tall, 200 to 220 pounds, wearing a large black jacket, dark-blue jeans, black shoes and a black balaclava.

The third offender had a slim build and was wearing a large grey hooded jacket, grey sweatpants and a black balaclava. This man was carrying a shotgun.
