A 37-year-old Saint John man has been charged in connection with an internet child exploitation investigation.

In June 2016, the New Brunswick RCMP’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit began investigating after receiving information from the National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre in Ottawa about images circulating on the internet of a possible female victim under the age of 10. The investigation determined that the girl lived in New Brunswick.

In September 2016, a man was arrested in connection with the investigation and later released to return to court at a later date.

On January 24, 2017, James Curtis Green appeared in Saint John Provincial Court charged with making child pornography. He is scheduled to return to court on March 7.

The investigation is ongoing.
