The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault/Child Abuse Section has charged a Wakefield male with Possession of Child Pornography, Mischief, and Using a Computer to Facilitate an Offence against a Person Under the age of 18.
An investigation was commenced in February 2010 into allegations involving the inappropriate exchange of electronic photographs and e-mails between a student and a teacher employed by the Ottawa District School Board during 2007 and 2008.
Lawrence KEYTE, age 46, of Wakefield, Quebec was arrested on June 22, 2010 and is scheduled to appear in court today.
