On September 27, 2010, 47-year-old Ralph LeBlanc of Lutes Mountain outside of Moncton appeared in (Moncton Provincial Court) and was sentenced to five years in jail for conspiracy to traffic in cocaine. He was also prohibited from possessing firearms and explosives for life following his release, and ordered to submit a DNA sample.

The charges stemmed from a lengthy joint forces investigation into organized illegal drug trafficking in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Québec, which concluded in 2006. To date, five other New Brunswick men who faced charges as a result of this investigation have been sentenced to jail terms ranging from 30 months to 5 years.
