Iman Dahir and Marie Amanda Sharfe charged with robbery in Ottawa

The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit charged two women in relation to a personal robbery that occurred on Nelson Street yesterday.

At about 9:45 am, the Ottawa Police Service responded to a robbery in the 100 block of Nelson Street. Two women assaulted and robbed a 70-year-old man. The victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital where he is currently in stable condition.

The suspects were located and arrested by police. The charges are as follows:

-Iman DAHIR age 28, of Ottawa, is charged with robbery, aggravated assault and breach of probation.

Marie Amanda SHARFE, age 20, of Ottawa, is charged with robbery, aggravated assault and breach of undertaking.

They are both scheduled to appear in court today.
