Missing girl Madeleine McCannPolice has renewed the search for missing girl Madeleine McCann by reconstructing the gathered evidence with the issuance of e-fit images for the identification of suspect they view as of “vital importance”.

A couple of e-fit images have been released on the basis of the statements from two witnesses who saw the man in the town centre of Paria da Luz in Portugal. The sightings took place on the evening of 3 May 2007, the night Madeleine went missing.

The girl was three years old at the time of her disappearance, that was six years ago on Thursday, 3 May 2007.

According to the Scotland Yard, the police investigating the matter is now have cleaerr understanding of the times when the child has been kidnapped, making statements from two witnesses far more significant.

Two e-fit images of suspectWitnesses described the man in the e-fit as being white, aged between 20-40 years old, with short brown hair, of medium build, medium height and clean shaved.

The senior investigating officer, Andy Redwood has said: “Whilst this man may or may not be the key to unlocking this investigation, tracing and speaking to him is of vital importance to us.”

“We have witnesses placing him in the resort area around the time of Madeleine’s disappearance.”

He has also told that massive progress has been made by the detectives in the matter on the basis of all the clues gathered to date and reviewing it as a whole.

Mr. Redwood has added: “Praia da Luz is a popular holiday destination for many nationalities so our requests for help need to be repeated in many different countries. I will be travelling to Holland, Germany and Ireland to seek the support of the public there.”

Prime Minister David Cameron has supported the investigation into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, saying: “I’m very pleased that Scotland Yard are doing this work. The Government has helped to fund the work that is being done.

“This was a crime that touched the heart of everyone in the country and everyone would like to see it resolved, so I hope Scotland Yard continue with their work and I wish them success.”
