Sabrina MossThree men are convicted of of murdering an innocent young mother who became a victim of fatal shooting incident in bloody drugs turf war during a night out celebrating her 24th birthday.

Nursery schoolteacher Sabrina Moss and her friend Sabrina Gachette, 25, were gunned down in the Kilburn, north-west London, in August last year by two hooded men armed with a sub-machine gun and a shot gun.

Miss Moss – the mother of one, was shot in the heart and died later in hospital. Miss Gachette was hit in the back by more than 50 gunshot pellets but luckily survived.

Drug dealers Hassan Hussain, 29, from Willesden; Martell Warren, 22, of Kensal Green, and Yassin James, 20, from Wembley, were convicted at the Old Bailey after being found guilty for the murder.

They have also been found guilty of the attempted murder of Miss Gachette, conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm, two charges of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, two counts of attempted murder of two suspected members of the SKG.

In addition to the above, Simon Baptiste, 29, of Rondu Road, Cricklewood, who allowed the gunmen to use his house as a base for the killing was also convicted of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm.

Jurors were told that the victims were not the intended targets and were just became the part of tragedy for being present in the wrong place at the wrong time, sheltering from the rain with a group of about 15 others outside a take-away fast food restaurant, the Woody Grill in north west London.

Although the exact reason for the shooting was still not clear, it believed to have a connection with a drug-dealing turf war and deep-seated animosity with members of the South Kilburn Gang.

Prosecutor Mark Heywood QC has told the attack took place against a “backdrop of violent tension and animosity” between the groups comprised of young men.

All three men will all be sentenced on 12 September.
