15 year-old accused of Ezekiel Amosu manslaughter

A 15-year-old male youth from the Walthamstow area was last night (26 January) accused of the manslaughter of 17-year-old Ezekiel Amosu in Forest Road, Walthamstow on Monday, 24 January.

The youth will appear in custody at Waltham Forest Magistrates’ Court today (27 January).

Enquiries continue.

Police were called at approximately 19:15hrs on Monday 24 January following reports of a bus in collision with a male in Forest Road E17 at the junction of Pembar Avenue E17.

Ezekiel Amosu, aged 17, of Walthamstow was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post-mortem gave cause of death as crush injuries.
