Two men murdered inside a Jeans Factory in DelhiTwo men were found murdered inside a factory in East Delhi’s Kailash Nagar area on Sunday morning. Police suspect personal enmity as the motive behind the crime.

Police were informed about the incident around 9 am on Sunday when they received a PCR call. “We were informed that a foul stench was emanating from a closed factory. A team was sent where the victims, Deepak (25) and Anil (26), were found on the top floor of the jeans factory, with their limbs tied. There were multiple stab wounds on their bodies,” said a senior police officer.

Police said the entry to the factory appeared to be friendly. “The workers were living on the top floor of the factory, which had been closed for Diwali as most of the workers had gone to their native villages. Deepak and Anil were to leave on Friday for their hometowns in Assam and Bihar respectively,” an officer said

Sources said there appeared to have been an attempt to break into the main office of the factory, where all the cash is kept but the locks were not found broken. No theft has been reported.

Fellow workers of the victims reportedly told police that Deepak was found hanging upside down in the room with stab wounds on his body. Anil was found inside the adjoining bathroom with his head in the toilet and stab injuries on his throat and body. Police suspect the murders took place a few days ago.

A case has been registered at the Gandhi Nagar police station.
