Two bomb blasts left several injured at the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday. President Barack Obama has assured to catch the culprits behind this gruesome act. The incident put police on high alert in major cities across the United States, including Washington DC and New York City.

Declaring the incident an act of terror, the White House confirmed that three people were killed and over 100 are suffering from grave injuries. According to investigation officers, the dead included an 8-year-old boy.

“It is a criminal investigation that is a potential terrorist investigation,” said Richard DesLauriers, the FBI special agent in charge for Boston.
