This Tuesday during his roadshow campaigning at the country’s capital, Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal was slapped again by an unidentified driver. The attacker, identified as 38-year-old Lali, an auto-rickshaw driver and a resident of Aman Vihar, was immediately pulled down by the AAP supporters and beaten up. This is the second slap-attack on the former Delhi Chief Minister in the last four days.

“These attacks are scripted. When they (attackers) are arrested, they repeat the (same) script,” Kejriwal told the media later. “Why are all the attacks taking place only on us?” he said, adding that the emergence of the Aam Aadmi Party had spoiled the “setting” between various political parties. “There will be more attacks, and we can also get killed,” said Kejriwal, who was chief minister of Delhi for 49 days until February 14 at the head of a minority government.  He added, “I don’t want security. As long as god wants me to live, no one can harm me. The day god feels my time is over, I will die, no one can stop that.”

Later in Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, “I am just thinking – why am i being repeatedly attacked? Who r the masterminds? What do they want? What do they achieve? Is violence an answer to country’s problems? let them tell me place n time. I will come there. Let them beat me as much as they want…but will that solve the problems?” he asked.
