In a shocking revelation , Senior congress leader K.Sudhakaran has accused a Supreme Court Judge of accepting bribes from a bar owner in order to hang on to bar licenses. The Judge is accused to have accepted 36 lakhs to lift a Kerala High Court ban on 21 bar licences.

M.P Sudhakaran from Kerala Lok Sabha, admitted that though he doesn’t have any proof to support his allegation but still he is ready to name the judge in a court.

While addressing a reception which was to felicitate Kerala Congress (B) chairman R Balakrishnan Pillai who is sentenced to a year’s imprisonment in a corruption cas, he said that he was a witness in this bribery case which took place in Kerala house, Delhi and the judge received rs 36 lakhs in two installment.

The bench was of single judge which was considering the petition filed by bar owners who wanted the SC to quash the high court order against licences issued by the then Congress government, led by K Karunakaran.
