arvind kejriwal faces violent protestors at delhi stationThe leader of Aam Admi Party, Arvind Kejriwal, was once again heckled at a train station by violent protestors as he began his journey today from Delhi to Punjab. The Chief Minister of Delhi was heckled by women from opposition parties over a sex scandal in his party as they raised slogans for him to “go back.”

Pushed by a crowd of women protestors, Mr Kejriwal boarded a Shatabdi train in Delhi this morning as women kept shouting slogans against a minister Mr Kejriwal sacked, Sandeep Kumar, after his sex video was leaked. Mr Kumar was arrested on the weekend because the woman filmed in the video has accused him of rape. Meanwhile, the party has claimed that the encounter at Delhi train station proves that the city’s police force is leaking his itinerary to compromise his safety. Mr. Kejriwal’s deputy, Manish Sisodia questioned that “why did this happen despite the police being informed about the Chief Minister’s schedule? He is pushed around in the presence of the police, and they were silent spectators. TV cameras had been called. It is obvious that this was planned.”

Moreover, AAP raised concerns about the Delhi Police refusing to provide security for Mr Kejriwal in Punjab. According to the police, they cannot provide security to the Chief Minister after he crosses into another state. Mr Kejriwal plans to spend the next three days in Punjab to sort out some party issues as it fights a series of scandals about candidates for the coming elections allegedly bribing top party leaders.
