This Thursday, Imran Khan, the chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, refused the offer for talks, adding that he cannot talk about negotiations when his supporters and workers are in jail for no legal reason behind their arrest. He added that the people of this nation are coming out to make the Pakistan that Quaid-e-Azam wanted.

Khan said wherever he went including the flood affected areas, all he heard was people saying ‘Go, Nawaz, Go’. “If I have to stay here for one year I will still and I’m ready because people have started to know about their rights. They know their rights now.” He said his 18 years of politics could not be compared with these 35 days of Azadi March because people are now aware of their rights. He added that he wants a Pakistan where people are able to control their leaders. He said that in Denmark, Norway and Sweden the percentage is of tax is 50% and in Pakistan it’s about 8%. The only reason Pakistan cannot collect tax because 70% of the leaders do not give tax.

He said there’s no hospital in the world where 70% of the patients get free treatment. He said people of Pakistan are ready to donate because they know their money won’t go to waste. So once leaders start using their tax money properly, people won’t be avoiding payment of taxes. He said, Nawaz Sharif, needs to resign until the completion of the investigation of rigging that was done in the 2013 elections.
