This Sunday the Tehreek-e-Insaf leader, Imran Khan, took Rahim Yar Khan like a storm as people poured out in dozens to see and support their leader. Unlike previous gatherings held in other cities like Lahore and Karachi, the PTI chief took his time to convey his message to the people and also to the government. The former cricketer also had a translator beside him who was translating messages for the deaf.

Khan added another twist to his sit-in Islamabad and said that he withdraws his demand of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s resignation and added that instead he wants the investigation of the 2013 polls by a commission which includes not only the judiciary but also officials from spy agencies Military Intelligence (MI) and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). He said that the commission should be made by the November 30th and while the investigation is being carried out, Sharif can stay as the Prime Minister and the sit-in will also continue in Islamabad.  Khan further added that if the government fails to do so, then after the grand sit-in on the 30th of November, it would get difficult for the government to continue.

Khan also added that the sanctity of the votes is important otherwise the people of Pakistan will never get out of the whirlpool created by the two corrupt parties of Pakistan. He added that it is important to stop the stealing of mandate otherwise the people of Pakistan will never be able to get out of poverty.
