5.1.5 Productions presents a breath taking new artiste known as Shama – Debuting her single ‘Maahi’ from the forthcoming album ‘Maahi’.Shama is a beautiful voice bringing the sweetness of bollywood in her singing, and fusing it with the fresh and dynamic urban sound of her band – The 5.1.5 Crew.
Having toured and performed in the live music circuit for many years nationally and internationally with artists such as Sukhvinder Singh, Nitin Mukesh, Anup Jalota and Mangal Singh, Shama is now launching her solo career with her band.
This Diva will be making her presence known with forthcoming releases due in 2011.
The Journey for Shama and The 5.1.5 Crew began in early 2009 although they have all been professionals in the industry for several years, bringing influences from the Bhangra, Bollywood, Urban and World Fusion music circuits. It is a sound which is unique and exciting.
Audiences have been wowed by their breathtaking performances since coming together in 2009 and the response has been amazing.
Currently Shama is working on material for a UK wide tour with The 5.1.5 Crew and several performances lined up outside of the UK.
