M-Rock (Maneesh Bidaye) never knew his music was going to be on national TV when he began playing his family’s synthesizer as a teenager. Responsible for the music behind Russell Peters’ infamous bhangra & breakdancing music at the 2009 Junos, M-Rock began his career in 1999 as a turntablist in Toronto, Canada, moving his way up into international circuits placing high in numerous world competitions held in New York, Los Angeles and London, England. Turntablism is still a part of his DJ act, but it is his music production and composition skills that get producers for Rihanna like Just Blaze saying “M-Rock had me up here dancing, that beat was retarded!”.

Having parents raised in Mumbai, India, this young artist plans on taking his talent all over the world, aiming to bring something different musically and culturally to the entire globe.
