Kevin Pietersen while addressing the reporters in India said he is in complete awe of the hospitality and warm welcome given to him in India.

The aggressive English top order batsman is touring India with the England Cricket team and is currently taking part in the One Day Series that his team is trailing 2-0.

He said he is completely humbled by the hospitality given to the England cricket squad.

He said “To be honest in Indian people are just so nice, we get treated really well, the cricket is obviously very fortunate and hard as well, I have played 15 one-day internationals… it is really tough, it tests you mentally. The hotels are fantastic, people so caring, so giving, I mean, Indian people are so hospitable,”

The 31-year old former England Captain said he would love to take part in the Diwali festivities while India. According to Petersen, “It is nice to get involved with what’s happening in the country and not be ignorant to know about the culture when on tour”
