Toronto ArgonautsWide Receiver Mike Bradwell will remain a member of the Argonauts for two more seasons after the Toronto native has decided to extend his contract with the club through the 100th Grey Cup season and into 2013.

Commented Bradwell, “I am thrilled to sign a new contract with the Argonauts and be a part of this team as we make a run at the 100th Grey Cup in Toronto next year. Playing in my hometown in front of family and friends has been a dream come true and I cannot wait for the 2012 season to start.”

Born and raised in the Leaside area of Toronto, and a graduate of Leaside High School, Bradwell has played three seasons for his hometown Argonauts. Bradwell’s understanding of the Canadian game cannot be understated which is why he’s been a key contributor on special teams and a more than reliable receiver. His career totals on offence include 59 catches for 756 yards and three touchdowns.

The Argos drafted the McMaster University product with the 13 th overall pick in the 2008 CFL Canadian Draft. He returned to school that year to complete his degree in Civil Engineering and has been a full-time member of the Boatmen since training camp in 2009. As a member of the Marauders, he was a First-Team All-Canadian and led the nation in receiving yards in 2008.
