The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club today announced they have assigned Kenndal McArdle to the St. John’s IceCaps of the American Hockey League.
McArdle, 24, has appeared in nine games with the Winnipeg Jets this season racking up four penalty minutes. The Toronto, Ontario native spent the majority of the 2010-11 season with the Rochester Americans where he played in 54 games for 26 points (14g, 12a) and 106 penalty minutes.
He has played in a career 42 NHL games between Winnipeg and Florida where he earned a career three NHL points (1g, 2a) and 51 penalty minutes. McArdle was originally drafted by Florida in the first round, 20th overall, in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
