Toronto Maple LeafsThe Toronto Maple Leafs announced Saturday afternoon that goaltender Ben Scrivens has been assigned to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League (AHL).

 Scrivens posted a record of 2-4-1 with a 2.96 goals against average in eight appearances with the Maple Leafs. He made his NHL debut and was First Star in the win November 3 at Columbus. He was recalled from the Marlies on October 27. He has fashioned a 4-1-0 record with the Marlies this season with a 2.41 goals against average. 

The Marlies will be in action Sunday afternoon as they take on the St. John’s IceCaps at 1 pm at Ricoh Coliseum.
