Buffalo SabresBuffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier today announced that defensemen Brayden McNabb and TJ Brennan have been recalled on an emergency basis from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League. 

McNabb (6’5”, 212 lbs., 1/21/90) joins the Sabres for his third career recall after recording five points (1+4) and 10 penalty minutes in 21 games with the team earlier this season. In his first AHL season, McNabb has tallied 28 points (5+23) in 41 games for Rochester.  A native of Davidson, Saskatchewan, McNabb was selected by Buffalo in the third round (66th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. 

Brennan (6’1”, 214 lbs., 4/3/89) joins the Sabres for the fifth time this season. The Willingboro, NJ native has recorded one point (1+0) and six penalty minutes in eight NHL games this season. In his third AHL season, Brennan has 29 points (15+14) and 35 penalty minutes in 48 games with the Americans, leading all Amerks defensemen in goals and points. He was selected by the Sabres in the second round (31st overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
