Marlies Travel Down QEW to Play Bulldogs Tonight at Copps Coliseum

The Toronto Marlies, a proud member of the American Hockey League, announced today that during the first intermission of their home game on Saturday against the Hamilton Bulldogs, AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, three members from Canada’s 2006 gold medal winning sledge team will take part in a shootout.

March of Dimes is proud to welcome Paralympics gold winning hockey goaltender Paul Rosen to the Marlies game on Saturday. Rosen was part of Canada’s gold medal winning sledge hockey team at the 2006 Winter Games in Torino. During the first intermission, Rosen, along with teammates Greg Westlake and Adam Nixon, will take part in a sledge hockey shootout. In the second intermission all three will sign autographs for fans in attendance.

The Marlies return home on Saturday afternoon to host the Bulldogs in a 4:00 p.m. contest at Ricoh Coliseum. The game will air live on Rogers TV Cable 10 in Toronto and 63 in Scarborough.
