Oye! Times invites everyone to come out and celebrate South Asian Cultural Day with the Toronto Marlies on Saturday March 6th at Ricoh Coliseum as the Marlies take on the Rochester Americans beginning at 4pm.
The Marlies are celebrating South Asian culture with live performances by Prita Chhabra and Dhol Circle. Parminder Singh of CBC will take part in the ceremonial puck drop and there will be lots of Punjabi Hockey giveaways as well.

Marlies Chase for a Playoff Spot
The Marlies have been playing well of late and are looking to make a push for the playoffs. Last week Toronto defeated the Hershey Bears, AHL’s top team and defending Calder Cup champions, 3-2. Toronto has won 4 of their past 5 home games and is looking to rack up another win on home ice in a key divisional matchup with the Amerks.
