Marlies Face-Off Against the Hamilton Bulldogs Today at Ricoh Coliseum

Dave Nonis, General Manager of the Toronto Marlies, announced today that forward Jamie Devane has been assigned to the Marlies.

Devane, 19, skated in 51 games with the Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League this season, totaling 14 points (six goals, eight assists) and 84 penalty minutes. The 6’4, 212-pound native of Mississauga, Ontario also played in nine playoff games for the Whalers, recording one assist and 12 penalty minutes.

He was originally selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the third round, 68th overall, in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

The Marlies host the Hamilton Bulldogs, AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, this afternoon at Ricoh Coliseum at 4:00 p.m. Toronto closes out their 2009-10 campaign tomorrow afternoon with a tilt against the Abbotsford Heat, AHL affiliate of the Calgary, at 4:00 p.m. Both games will air live on Rogers TV Cable 10 in Toronto and 63 in Scarborough.
