The World Challenge, Thousand Oaks Championship will be underway on Friday November 30th 2012 at the Sherwood Country Club; Thousand Oaks, Calif. The tournament will be enclosing on Sunday December 2nd 2012.
The World Challenge day one qualification round lead by Nick Watney, at Sherwood Country Club, in Thousand Oaks, California. He fired a five-under-par 67 in the opening round of the elite, where only three other players bust 70 out of 18-man challenging event hosted by Tiger Woods.
Going through with a sequence of regular performances, Nick Watney went on to win the fifth PGA Tour title of his profession at the Barclays tournament in the month of August, after that successful at the PGA Tour co-certified CIMB Classic in Malaysia in the preceding month.
In the first round, Tiger Woods didn’t have a good start yet he’s only 3 shorts away from the lead. He is sharing the leather board with Bo Van Pelt and Webb Simpson on fifth, sixth and seventh positions. Keegan Bradley, Graeme McDowell of Northern Ireland and Jim Furyk have tied on second third and fourth positions.
