After having performed poorly in the opening test, South Africa look to level the two-match test series by attaining a huge lead in the 1st innings after leg-spinner Imran Tahir’s five-wicket haul helped the Proteas bowl out Pakistan for mere 99 on the first day of the second and final Test on Wednesday in Dubai.
South African skipper Graeme Smith guided his team well and remained unbeaten on 67 as South Africa finished day one at 128 for 3. Night-watchman Dale Steyn is also accompanying the captain with 3 not out.
