The 2013 United States Grand Prix returns to America, MotoGP World Championship goes underway this weekend in Austin, Texas, scheduled from November 15 to November 17 2013. It was missing since 2007, the event will be held for the second consecutive year at the Circuit of the Americas.
In this year contrary to 2012, the championship looks already been decided, as Red Bull Racing’s Sebastian Vettel is looking in full form as he had won two races back in India.
Race consists of 56 laps that have 5.516 km Circuit length while Race distance is of 308.896km with 20 corners (11 left-handers, 9 right) and Circuit direction anti-clockwise. Lewis Hamilton was the defending champion who made 1:35.552 Race record time.
Due to injuries, Lotus’ Kimi Räikkönen is sitting out the remaining two races to undergo surgery while Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso was also looks to be sitting out the race, due to a back injury he suffered after hitting the curb in the previous race in Abu Dhabi, though he has confirmed himself fit for this tournament through Twitter.
