India will start their tour of Australia with test series and the opening test to be played at Adelaide on Tuesday.
The opening test match will be very interesting to watch with the view of team’s performances, especially the hosts following the tragic death of Phil Hughes who was in line for a return to the Test team prior to the incident. On the other hands, for India it is an incredibly important series because a 3-0 or 4-0 series loss will mean they drop down to 7th in the Test rankings. Virat Kohli will lead the Indian team but will be looking to improve his Test record since he is averaging less than 40. However, his ability is much more as a performer than the figures suggest about him and Kohli has often had success in the Australians which will work to his advantage.
