A new and improved Ducati Multistrada 1200 has gone out of the hiding for the 2013 model year. Equipped with the standard set of clever electronic gizmos such as ABS, TC, riding modes and stuff, it now comes with a semi-active suspension they call Skyhook. What it does is adjusting the damping settings while on the move to help tackling the various road conditions like the ones, for example, on the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. With this new addition the Multi 1200 becomes even more advanced in its four-bikes-in one role. The only concern we have is that the name Skyhook is a bit too close to another computerized name – Skynet. If Multistradas start coming back from the future to kill John Connor, I’m getting out of Ducatis.

p.s. No I’m not.
