Amateur standout needs only 37 seconds to finish McQuaker at the Bell Centre in Montreal

Undefeated top Canadian prospect Tyler Asselstine (3-0, 2KO) landed a spectacular body shot at just 37 seconds of the first round, dropping Dave McQuaker for the count this past Saturday evening at the Bell Centre in Montreal. The victory marks the second knockout in as many weeks, as the young fighter originally from Kingston, Ontario notched his third win of his 5 week-old professional career.

“I had been practicing that exact punch for the last few weeks in the gym with my trainer Eric Belanger, the straight left to the body” said the southpaw featherweight. “It always feels good to put all that practice to work, although I wish I could have given my fans a bit longer of a fight! Scoring 3 wins in 5 weeks feels great, and I am ready and willing to take on anyone that my promoter puts in front of me. I could fight.
