Wales head coach Warren Gatland hailed his players after his experimental side claimed a shock 23-10 win against Argentina in San Juan on Saturday.
That result comes after Wales beat South Africa 22-20 in Washington last weekend.
Wales dominated for large periods against los Pumas and will be hoping to clinch a 2-0 series win when the sides meet in Sante Fe on Saturday.
And Gatland believes the future is bright for the Six Nations runners-up.
“We feel like we are in a really good space at the moment,” he told Sky Sports.
“Welsh rugby is in a good place.
“We are really looking forward to the next 12 to 14 months before the World Cup.
“But we spoke before the game about how important our defensive performance was going to be. The guys fronted up.
“That is what we asked of them and as a coaching team, you cannot ask for more than that, when the guys deliver for you and they put their bodies on the line.
“They gave everything so it was a really pleasing performance.”
Wales have a great supporters tour of Argentina with Robert Davies Sports Travel and Allan Falck Sun Dance Tours having a great time!
