Toronto FC announced Wednesday that the club has reached a mutual agreement with North American Scout, Nick Dasovic to part ways.

"I want to first congratulate Nick Dasovic on his upcoming induction into the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame," said Toronto FC Head Coach and Technical Director Aron Winter. "I’d also like to thank Nick for all of his contributions to Toronto FC, from his work in the Academy to the first team and most recently as a scout for our club."

"Over the course of my time at Toronto FC I was fortunate to work with a lot of great people. It just became time to move on and that happens. I’d like to thank the management staff and everyone I worked with in Toronto and wish them well for the future," said Nick Dasovic.

Dasovic joined Toronto FC in 2008 as the Academy Head Coach and First Team Assistant Coach. He served as the club’s Interim Head Coach for the final six weeks of the regular season, last year. Dasovic has also spent time with the Canadian National program as a coach. As a player, he earned 63 caps and scored two international goals for Canada.

Dasovic will be inducted into the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame in Toronto on May 28, into the players category.
