The power of sisterhood

The intensity of female connections…………..between the females or between people, when they allow their soft, gentle, yin or female goddess to guide them, is profound.

Spending time here at Rancho margot, surrounded by nature, the healing energy of the rainforest and the sun, I find myself connecting and feeling the soul energy in complete union, with other souls and with the mountains, the flowing river, the songs of the birds and all the surroundings……….the attunement is so sharp, that if there is any soul experiencing any conflict, it is palpable to others.

We hiked to the Mirador, two other yoginis, and I…………….it was a hike that left me breathless, in more than one way……….the silence, the view of lake arenal and the volcano………….induced a prayer, filled with gratitude and desire for all souls to live in harmony, with nature with other sentient beings………..to accompany us,.there were a few cows, basking in the sunshine……….after the photos shots, we found ourselves listening and giving advice to Rachel, she was trusting us to share the concerns foremost on her mind, as we talked, our perspective which was coming from our own point of view, hoping that her talking and our comments, will help her inner guidance to emerge and lead her into the path, that will continue to bring her peace and joy………….then we did an amazing ritual, with each of us sharing our "brags", "gratitude" and "desire"…………
…….as the days, and evenings of sharing continue, that same universal connection has been contributing to our yoga practice and of the past few days…………… yesterday the 4 pm yoga session became a satsang, as we explored the concept of "love", as discussed by Krishnamurti in his book "Freedom from the Known"……it was a beautiful moment, as we sat in front of the candle lit altar, there were no more words, just the realization………with beautiful yoginis – Marie-Eve and Rachel

This morning at 7, Rachel and I were not sure who was going to lead the yoga session, and soon we knew why, as we both found that as one guided the verbal session, the other became the visual aid………..two guests of the ranch, who were new to yoga, felt the magic of the session, and with the beautiful chants, and OM we completed our practice …………

Tu Eres Mi Otro Yo – (You Are My Other Self). A Mayan concept of unity, we learn to be ourselves through our relationships with others.
