The York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit is seeking public assistance in identifying and apprehending three suspects wanted in connection with a home invasion in the City of Vaughan.

On Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at approximately 12:40 p.m., three male suspects forced their way into a home on Venice Gate Drive. The occupant, a 26-year-old female, was immediately grabbed and bound while suspects ransacked the home. During the incident, several persons arrived at the residence and interrupted the robbery, causing the suspects to flee. Prior to police arrival, two suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction while the third suspect stole a vehicle, which was parked in the driveway.

The victim received minor injuries as a result of the incident that did not require medical attention.

The suspects are described as:

• Two male Asian and one male black, all dressed in construction worker clothes

Investigators are asking that anyone who might have been in the area at this time and who may have seen anything suspicious to contact police.
