National Language & Cultural Expo

For the first time in Canada, a mosaic of international languages and cultures will meet under one roof for a two-day event in Toronto. The National Language and Cultural Expo will celebrate official, community and international languages, as well as intercultural and global awareness.

“This event provides an excellent opportunity to learn about new cultures and conduct business with a variety of Canadians and countries from around the world,” said Show Manager, Anna Kozina. “Visitors will be provided with all of the resources required to help them learn, teach and converse in different languages.”

The National Language and Cultural Expo is host to a variety of exhibits that cater to individual needs; such as, English and French Fairs, Language Career and Business Fairs, and Cultural Exhibitions.

The event will feature a plethora of businesses, associations, cultural groups and organizations, government agencies, school boards, examination boards, community groups, educational and student exchange programs and ethnic media.

“We are also honoured to welcome OMNI TV as a media sponsor to help us promote cultural diversity and awareness,” continued Ms. Kozina. “Toronto is well-known for its diversity, making it an ideal location for an event of this nature.”

The Expo is open to the public and invites language learners and teachers, linguists, interpreters, educators, businesses, professional organizations and associations, and anyone who is passionate about, or interested in, languages and world cultures to attend.
