Rogers Communications Inc. announces today two special offers for its customers, one for Rogers Home Phone and the other for Digital Cable. In celebration of Eid and Diwali, home phone customers can make free long distance calls to select countries around the world on these holidays. In addition to this, Rogers Digital Cable celebrates its 10th anniversary since carrying its first South Asian channel, the Asian Television Network (ATN), with the launch of seven brand new South Asian channels which will be available on free preview.

As part of an ongoing commitment to quality and diverse programming, Rogers Cable continues to expand its multicultural offerings across ethnic markets with over 80 multicultural channels. “Beginning with the launch of ATN ten years ago, Rogers Cable has grown its South Asian offerings which include over 30 channels by the end of September,” said Steven Wagner, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Rogers Cable.

To help connect families world-wide, Rogers Home Phone customers are invited to make free long distance calls to select countries on the largest South Asian holidays, Eid and Diwali. “Customer appreciation is at the heart of our free long distance offer,” Wagner continued, “We understand the importance of staying connected with family and friends around the world, which is why Rogers is pleased to offer its customers the chance to talk to who they want and as long as they want during Eid and Diwali.”

Rogers Home Phone customers can take advantage of the following free long distance offers:

· Eid – September 19, for 24 hours beginning at 8:00 p.m. (ET) to the United Kingdom, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Iran, Afghanistan, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia
