Peel Police – Police Seek Public’s Assistance in Identifying Suspects

Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects, who assaulted a female victim in her vehicle at the intersection of Erin Mills Parkway and Battleford Road.

On Thursday, March 25, 2010, at approximately 9:50 p.m., the victim, a 34 year-old Mississauga woman, was stopped in the northbound lanes on Erin Mills Parkway. The suspect vehicle, a silver Honda sedan with a partial Ontario licence plate of BEYM, pulled alongside the victim’s vehicle and stopped. The first suspect exited this vehicle and approached the victim’s driver’s side window. The suspect then proceeded to punch the victim in the head. A second suspect also exited the car and attended the driver’s side window, where he kicked the victim through the window. The suspects then fled the scene in their vehicle, which is believed to have had at least two additional persons inside.

The victim was transported to hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries and released.

The suspects are described as follows;

Suspect #1 is described as male, black, with a medium build and approximately 5’6” tall. He has a light complexion, shoulder length braided dreadlocks and appeared to be in his mid 20’s. He was wearing all dark clothing and spoke with a thick Jamaican accent.

Suspect #2 is described as male, black, with a medium build and approximately 5’7” tall. He also has a light complexion and shoulder length braided dreadlocks.

Police would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have information regarding the identity of the suspects or their vehicle. Anyone with information is encouraged to call investigators at (905) 453-2121, ext. 1133.
