Baisakhi, the exuberant harvest festival heralds the return of Spring. It is a time for prayer, for song and dance, as families come together to celebrate. This year, Rogers is celebrating Baisakhi with free gifts for Digital TV customers.
As part of the Baisakhi festivities, from April 6-19, 2010, Rogers’ digital customers can watch free previews of the Punjabi Package. These include channels like PTC Punjabi (Channel 853), ATN Alpha Punjabi (Channel 850), SSTV (Channel 851) and MH1 (Channel 852). Customers with a Rogers Digital Terminal in Ontario can simply go to the channel numbers listed to view these channels during the preview.
Plus, viewers can access free Punjabi content 24/7with Multicultural On Demand on Channel 800. Tune-in to programs like Sikh Sargarmiyan, Sehaj Path and Gurbani, to address the spiritual aspect of the celebration.
