Ontario’s official celebration of Canada Day will be held on Thursday, July 1st on the south lawn at Queen’s Park.

The day begins with a Canadian citizenship ceremony with 30 candidates from 18 countries. Free and family-friendly entertainment and attractions will follow the official welcome.

Park attractions, activities and performances

Location: Queen’s Park, Toronto, South lawn of the Ontario Legislature

The citizenship ceremony will take place outside on the main stage, weather permitting. It will be moved inside (Legislative Building, Room #247) if needed. Media are welcome to attend both the ceremony and reception for new citizens.
