Khubsurat 2009

Announcing Khubsurat 2009 – Alberta’s only South Asian Bridal and Lifestyle Show is happening on Sunday March 22, 2009 at the Commonweath Hall and Conference Centre in Calgary.

This year Khubsurat 2009 will also feature a Silent Auction to raise funds for the “Little Angels School” in Mumbai, India ( www.littleangelsindia.org). This school caters to children with Special Needs and offers Academic and Lifestyle/Vocational Training. It is an NGO school and is run solely on donations. This cause is very close to the organizer’s (Shaila Khan’s) heart, since she has a 9 year old daughter has severe special needs.

Come experience the excitement and glamour of the professionally choreographed fashion shows featuring the latest in South Asian fashions and accessories from evening wear to bridal wear from local Calgary designers and boutiques. Over 40 local vendors will be showcasing their services as well.

Bring the whole family browse the Vendor Booths and watch South Asian Entertainers perform throughout the day.

Tickets for the show are only $5 per person. All Guests will receive a bag filled with free products and information.

Showtimes are from 11:00am till 5:00pm.
Fashion shows are at noon, 2:00pm and 4:00pm.
